It’s Maryland Wine Week, and restaurants throughout the state are celebrating by pouring local wines. In Howard County, Aida Bistro is hosting a tasting of Old Westminster’s 2012 Albarino and Chardonnay as well as the red Bordeaux blend, Channery Hill. That’s tonight,June 17 at Aida Bistro, 6741 Columbia Gateway Drive.
Wednesday’s Ellicott City ghost tour (June 19), “Sip, Shiver & Stroll” will feature Maryland wines at four participating locations, Ellicott Mills Brewing Company, Judge’s Bench Pub, The Diamondback Tavern and The Wine Bin. You’ll also get a “booty” bag filled with savings and other goodies. The tour, $50, begins at 5 p.m. at the Howard County Welcome Center, 8267 Main Street.
