SCOOPAHHDEEDOO

SccopAhhDeeDoo Image1SccopAhhDeeDoo Image2If you haven’t yet, check out the yummy treats at ScoopAhhDeeDoo, the new ice-cream shop on the block. Owned by local realtor and entrepreneur Kimberly Kepnes, the tiny storefront offers locally made ice cream from Taharka Brothers, the Baltimore based company that provides employment and business training for young African American men.

ScoopAhhDeeDoo may be a mouthful, but it’s definitely mouth-watering, with something for everyone: sorbet, non-fat frozen yogurt, milkshakes, and of course ice cream. Along with such basics as Chocolate, Strawberry (pictured in a cone), Vanilla, there are plenty of more creative options: try the Key lime pie (in dish), salted caramel, toasted coconut and Berger cookie. The shop is on Tongue Row in Historic                                           Ellicott City.
