Archiving the A.R.T.S- Celebrating the Legacy of the Women of Columbia

March 29, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Columbia Archives is pleased to announce a program in March in honor of Women’s History Month entitled Archiving the A.R.T.S — Celebrating the Legacy of the Women of Columbia.

This program will honor the achievements of women of Columbia who have diligently worked in the fields of art, religion, theater and sports. It will feature archival materials maintained within Columbia Archives (thorough displays and presentations) that highlight the influence their work has had on Columbia.

In addition to the displaying of donated archival materials, the following confirmed honorees — Doris Ligon (Arts), Carolyn Kelemen (Arts/Theater), Carolyn Arena (Religion) and Priscilla Hart (Religion) — will participate in a roundtable conversation focusing on how they have served Columbia and how Columbia has been a supportive environment for solidifying their visions.

The program will be held on March 29 at 6pm at Slayton House, 10400 Cross Fox Lane in the Wilde Lake Village Center.
