Welcome to the Wine Bin Summer Movies 2021 Edition

Movies make us happy and we are pleased to be able to bring back these beloved outdoor summer events to Old Ellicott City. We do it after careful thought, mindful that although great progress is being made, we are not out of the COVID woods quite yet.

Our goal is to have fun in a safe and respectful manner. For starters we have established a movie occupancy limit in the Wine Bin Parking lot well below the guidelines set by the CDC and Howard County. In order to manage our numbers, we will be offering advance reservation tickets for space (for up to 4 people). To reserve your FREE ticket, You’ll need to have or create an Account, but good news – it makes you part of our rewards program and sets you up for future free stuff.

We do ask that if you reserve seats, you actually show up! If you want your space guaranteed, that means arriving no later than 20 minutes before movie start time. After that, non-ticketed guests will be allowed entry until we reach our capacity.

We are putting together the perfect movie night snack & drink packages. Pre-order yours along with your tickets, then pick them up Saturday at the table in our lot. If you prefer something else from our inventory, feel free to shop in the store during movie hours. Please be aware masks are required and capacity is limited.

We also encourage carry out from any of the great OEC eateries, but please do not bring outside alcohol. These movies are our gift to our customers and community but we pay large licensing fees to show them. Please show your gratitude by supporting the Bin.

Other important stuff:

• The parking lot closes 90 minutes prior to movie start time. Please don’t arrive earlier, our lot will be full of customer cars coming and going.
• Please bring your own chair.
• Two Portable restrooms have been installed at opposite ends of the parking lot; our indoor restroom will NOT be available. Additional public restrooms are open on the lower level of the Howard County Welcome Center a short walk down the street.
