Artists Rebecca Bafford and Kini Collins present “Umbra”, a ceramic, sculptural, and installation-based exhibition concentrating on light, shadow, memory, and relics. Employing literal and metaphorical interpretations to address personal and cultural recollections, the artists question the veracity and validity of remembered thoughts, feelings and beliefs. The gallery is open in the Rouse Company Foundation Gallery and Richard B. Talkin Family Art Gallery, both located in the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, MD, 21044. Runs through September 22.
