The Women's Giving Circle of Howard County-Application Deadline-Journey Camp for Girls 2015

The Women’s Giving Circle of Howard County is accepting applications for JOURNEY 2015 which will take place Sunday, July 12th through Saturday, July 18th. Journey will be held on the picturesque campus of Washington College in Chestertown, MD on the Eastern Shore. 25 rising 8th and 9th grade girls from Howard County will be selected to attend the camp’s 10th year.

The week will be filled with many different program components, including a series of leadership and discussion workshops as well as projects, presentations and activities focused on celebrating inner and outer beauty. The girls will be engaged in discussions throughout the week on leadership development and gain an increased understanding of what it means to be a woman in today’s society.

The cost of the camp is $730 if paying by check, and $755 if paying by credit card. Applications can be obtained at www.mlw.org and will also be available in guidance offices at local middle schools.
