October Monthly Networking Luncheon Meeting

Martha Thomas, editor of Her Mind magazine in Howard County and food editor for Baltimore Style, teaches writing at the University of Maryland. She has been a freelance writer and editor for clients including the Washington Post, World Wildlife Fund, Architectural Digest, Baltimore magazine and many more.

Carolyn Lynch, CPA and entrepreneur, is founder and CEO of Mixolo, a social networking organization that launched in the Spring of 2017.

COMMUNITY DONATIONS:
One of the unique features of BWN is that we are ACTIVE supporters of our Howard County community. Not only do our members support each other as women in the business world, but we also harness the collective power of our membership to support the vital service work of various local organizations.

This month help us support HopeWorks of Howard County; a non-profit agency providing services to women, men, and children impacted by sexual assault and domestic violence in Howard County, Maryland. Since 1978, the Domestic Violence Center of Howard County has been providing critical services to families affected by domestic violence and raising awareness in the community.

During our October 18 meeting, we will be collecting items from their urgent needs list: hand soap, full sized body care products, and peanut butter & jelly.
