Opening Art Reception: Plein Air Painter Alison Menke

Wine and cheese reception for Maryland artist Alison Menke, a rising star in the world of Plein Air painting (“in the open air.”) A talented, dedicated and prolific young painter, she has already captured the attention of collectors and art show judges around the country. In the past year alone she has won Best in Show and First Place four times at regional plein air painting competitions.

A modern Impressionist working in oils, Alison is known for her dynamic compositions, luscious colors, facile brushwork, and attention to detail. Alison is Still Life Gallery’s best-selling artist and we are excited to present the third solo show since 2014 of her new works.
