Shelly Yehimovich is a well-known journalist who transitioned to politics. The former head of the Labor party, Yehimovich is a relentless Knesset Member working for governmental transparency, human rights, worker’s rights, and the LGBT community. During her term, she facilitated the passing of 42 laws and amendments addressing these issues. This program is in partnership with jGROUP.

Learn about leading women in Israeli society and get a glimpse into the worlds they come from—secular, religious, Ashkenazic, Sephardic, Jewish and Muslim.
The lunch and learn programs will take place from 11:30 am-1:00 pm. Bring a brown bag lunch—we’ll provide the dessert and drinks. 10630 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 121 (The Conference Room). Cost of each program is $5 which will be charged at the door on the day of the event. Pre-registration is strongly recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
