February 5, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

$35

Leadership Howard County, which seeks to empower leaders to strengthen and transform the community, will introduce a new thought leadership speaker series. The first event in the series will be “Leading in Crisis: High Altitude Performance During Challenging Times.”

The event will feature speaker Chris Warner, a leadership educator, entrepreneur, mountain climber and guide who uses his experiences to inspire and build teams. Warner will share tales of heroism, partnership, narcissism, cowardice and his experiences climbing K2, the second-highest mountain in the world. Warner has led over 230 mountaineering expeditions, summiting mountains including Everest and Kilimanjaro.

In addition, Warner was the founder and CEO of Earth Treks, the first national chain of indoor climbing gyms, which he sold in 2017. He has taught leadership to thousands of groups, including Google, covert and special ops teams, NFL and NHL teams and at The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He is also co-author of the bestseller “High Altitude Leadership.”

Sponsored by Wagener Lee Wealth Advisors, the virtual event costs $35 for Leadership Howard County members and $45 for nonmembers. To learn more and register, visit bit.ly/LHCLeadinginCrisis.
