2018 BWN Scholarship Award Luncheon

Please join the Business Women’s Network of Howard County as we award our 2018 BWN Lifelong Learner Scholarships.

BWN is proud to support women in the community in helping to further their education and feel confident in seeking growth opportunities. Whether it is business ownership, career development or community service, education is the foundation.

One of the unique features of BWN is that we are ACTIVE supporters of our Howard County community. Not only do our members support each other as women in the business world, but we also harness the collective power of our membership to support the vital service work of various local organizations.

This month, help us support The Howard County Food Bank, located in Columbia, MD. The Howard County Food Bank; an initiative of the Community Action Council (CAC), provides food to Howard County residents in need. CAC also sponsors fourteen (14) emergency food pantries that support families in need of emergency food assistance. As a healthy food bank, we are committed to alleviating the effects of hunger by providing adequate and nutritious food items to families. CAC distributes fruit and vegetables grown at its community garden and offers educational programs that support healthy eating habits for families.

During our June 20 meeting, we will be collecting the following items:

Canned fruits
Breakfast cereals
