HorseSpirit Arts Gallery Reopens After Flood

After July’s devastating floods in Ellicott City, MD the HorseSpirit Arts Gallery has rebuilt and will open again on October 28th with a series of grand events. The gallery features the work of 42 local artists whose work includes paintings, sculptures, mixed media, photography, glass and mosaics, jewelry, ceramics, woodturning, and fiber and wearable art. The gallery is fully stocked with art for sale that is available for holiday gift shopping. The gallery is located at 8090 Main Street in historic Ellicott City, MD.

Opening events include a dressy reopening on Friday, October 28th from 6-10pm. On Saturday, October 29th at 1pm County Executive Allan Kittleman with Ellicott City District Representative Jon Weinstein and the Howard County Chamber of Commerce will preside over a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Saturday evening there will be a costume party from 6-10pm and Sunday, October 30th from 12-3pm there will be a cupcake social.
