History in Whose Image: Community Lecture

Efforts in the Middle East to reinterpret the history of religious events are often challenged by religious dogma, fierce ideologues, and authoritative regimes. This talk explores historical Middle Eastern novels and how their insight into the past can enlighten life today. This lecture starts at 6 p.m. in the Monteabaro Recital Hall, located within the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center (HVPA) at Howard Community College. Free and open to the public.
