Halloween Hike

Join us for our Halloween Hike at the Patapsco Valley Quarry Trail in Woodstock, MD! All ages are encouraged to join us on this easy 3.1 mile out and back trail. There’s plenty of roadside parking available and lots of space to enjoy the woods at your own pace. If you’re feeling festive, we’d love to see what costume you’re wearing for Halloween 🎃! Can’t wait to see you there!

What to bring:
Sturdy hiking shoes,
Some water,
A mask in case the trail gets too tight to stay 6 feet from other hikers,
your Halloween Festivity!

Directions:
The trailhead is located on Old Court Rd. between the Patapsco River Bridge and the Cemetery. The trail is marked on Google Maps by the as Thru Trail, which is a longer, separate trail but it shares a trailhead with the Quarry Trail (coordinates 39.332706,-76,869380). If you’re coming from south of Woodstock, take MD-99 to Woodstock Rd, immediately after you cross the bridge the trailhead will be on your left.
There is plenty of parking on either side of Old Court Rd., but please proceed with caution if you park on the opposite side from the trailhead as vehicles do move quickly on this road.
