Best Selling Author Wes Moore to Speak at Leadership Howard County’s Big Event

Leadership Howard County will hold its annual Big Event on April 21 featuring guest speaker Wes Moore: “From Adversity to Success: Transformational Lessons in Leadership.”

Wes Moore is a youth advocate, Army combat veteran, national bestselling author, and innovative social entrepreneur based in Baltimore. His first book, The Other Wes Moore, became an instant New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller. In addition to writing the just-released book The Work,  Moore is the Founder and CEO of BridgeEdU, an innovative college platform that addresses the college completion and job placement crisis for disadvantaged youth.
