Aug 30 thru Sept 30- A master of bold, unapologetic color, Maryland artist Robert Hofherr paints landscapes that transcend reality. Inspired by Van Gogh and Fauvism, his paintings come alive with thick, swirling dimensional brushstrokes that take on a vibrant life of their own. Fields, trees, water, and sky become rich, playful mosaics splashed and saturated with blazing, dappled colors.
