The program will compare Jewish music from the past and present, and investigate different traditions that became a part of Jewish culture. The audience will hear familiar Yiddish and Ladino melodies and be introduced to new sounds. Peter Omelchenko, domra, Vladimir Fridman, vocals and guitar, and Anna Kusner, guitar.
Free, and open to the public, this performance will be held in the Monteabaro Recital Hall in the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College.
