Our fourth annual Day of Service will be hosted by Glen Mar Church, AMES Memorial, and St John Baptist Church. This event allows families to serve together with hands-on opportunities that will make a valuable difference in their communities. Volunteering only requires compassion, a willingness to help, and a caring attitude. Research studies have shown that volunteering is good for the body and mind. It enhances participates’ communication and interpersonal skills. It also allows participants to practice teamwork and problem solving. Volunteering with the family sets positive examples by helping other people, serving the world, and answering God’s calling. So come for one hour or come for the day.
