What to pair with that glass of Tempranillo? How about some tempera? At Pinot’s Palette, Ellicott City’s new art-studio-slash-wine-bar, you can do just that.
“We are an upscale destination where you can create a colorful painting while sippi
ng on your favorite beverage while socializing with your friends,” says Jim Noss, who co-owns Pinot’s Palette with wife, Lisa. “This is not a class. This is entertainment.”
It’s also friendly and low-key, which means there’s no danger of the, ahem, less skilled ladies in your girls’ night out group being embarrassed by the quality of their work.
“Novice painters really enjoy themselves and are amazed at the masterpiece that they have created at the end of the session,” says Jim, adding that pro instructors are on hand to offer guidance if requested. “Our motto is: Paint. Drink. Have Fun. All we ask is that you do at least two of the three.”
