CMO continues to grow and expand its team

Please see available positions:

   FULL-TIME Advertising Account Executive  
Responsibilities Include:
  • Generating revenue by retaining current business and developing weekly new business through customer referrals, prospecting, networking, etc.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of CMO’s portfolio of publication offerings and be able to differentiate our marketing solutions from the competitor
  • Present a multitude of publications to many categories and sizes of businesses
  • Prepare and submit proposals
  • Keep current advertisers/business up-to-date on new publications and ability to generate leads
  • Meet or exceed sales goals established by management
  • Provide accurate weekly sales revenue projections
Required Skills:
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
  • Must have good time management skills and the ability to handle a multitude of products and deadlines
  • Must have strong planning and organizational skills and excellent customer service
  • Must be accountable and reliable and a team player
  • Previous Media experience a plus – other sales experience preferred.
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Office and internet required

PART-TIME Commission-based Special Page Sales
Responsibilities Include:
  • Work from home selling the “Her Marketplace” special pages in the back of the magazine
  • Provide accurate, weekly sales revenue projections
  • Meet sales goals
  • Computer, internet access, fax machine, printer and phone required
Required Skills:
  • Must be familiar with Howard County, MD and Her Mind magazine
  • Have excellent sales, interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently from home
  • Have excellent customer service, planning and organizational skills
  • Prior sales experience required
