Leadership Howard County, which seeks to empower leaders to strengthen and transform the community, will hold its next general membership meeting “Staring Down the Storm: How to Build Resiliency and Stand Strong During Difficult Times.”
Carolyn Cumpsty-Fowler, senior director for nursing well-being at Johns Hopkins Medicine, will share how to cultivate resiliency, what it means, what it looks like and how it can help participants face challenges. Cumpsty-Fowler has held different roles and faculty positions at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and School of Nursing. She holds a Master of Public Health from the Bloomberg School and a doctorate in neurosurgery and public health from the University of Cape Town.
