The fourth annual conference dedicated to women working in the theatre will be held on August 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Horowitz Center at Howard Community College. The conference will feature keynote speaker, Maria Manuela Goyanes; a portfolio expo; and play readings, showcasing the winners of a 10-minute play contest. This year’s theme, The Power of Engagement, will be explored throughout the day, including numerous opportunities for networking and reflection.

Hosted by Rep Stage, the mission of the Women in Theatre conference is to provide an opportunity for women theatre practitioners to network with one another and develop strategies that further the cause of gender equality within the industry and beyond.
