2018 ECStrong 5k

The ECStrong 5k provides all proceeds to the Ellicott City Partnership to help the businesses impacted by the 2016 and NOW the 2018 floods. While this was to be a celebration of the resiliency of our community, it’s now become an event to show our STRENGTH and perseverance in the face of another devastating flood on May 27th, 2018. Limited to 500-runners, please help us make that goal! (June 4th update… we’re currently over 360 registrations and counting for the 5k). We also have the .05k this year, to provide those who want a shirt and a tasty beverage a way to participate, but only run 140-feet. The virtual runner option gives those not in the area a way to run, get a shirt, and still support the event.

The final start/finish is being finalized, and we’ll post the new course and race fact sheet with parking details as soon as we are certain. BUT, it’s still as close to Main Street as we can get.
