Tai Chi: Balance, Strength and Relaxation

Join personal trainer Pam Beck on Friday mornings to finish your week with a wind down, rejuvenating movement class. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art form of disciplined, meditative exercises using slow circular and stretching movements with positions of balance.
Tai Chi has also been called “ a string of pearls”, with philosophical origins. A grain of sand enters the oyster, interrupting the oyster’s perceived stillness. Somewhat irritated, the oyster moves slowly around the grain of sand, over time smoothing it out, forming a beautiful pearl. Each Tai Chi movement represents and individual pearl, born out of the need to resolve, learn and move forward.
