Howard Community College Presents All Mozart! Concert Oct. 30

On October 30, 2016, Howard Community College (HCC) piano faculty will join the Howard County Concert Orchestra (HCCO) in a performance of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 26, nicknamed “Coronation,” in the Smith Theatre in the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center.
The performance combines the elegant style and exuberant technique of HCC piano faculty Kuei-I Wu and HCCO, the stellar professional ensemble led by Ronald Mutchnik. This will be the second time the two organizations work together in a co-presentation.
In addition to the piano concerto, the program includes Mozart’s Impressario Overture and the “Haffner” Symphony.
The show begins at 4 p.m. Tickets for the October 30 concert cost $25 for adults, $12 for students (ages 18-24), and children (ages 17 and under) are free of charge.
