Geminid Meteor Shower

The Geminids, one of the most prolific and visible annual meteor showers of the day, produces up to 120 multicolored meteors per hour at its peak. Join the Howard County Conservancy for this year’s shower’s peak: the night of the 13th and the morning of the 14th. Best viewing will be after midnight. Join Dr. Joel Goodman and Dr. Alex Storrs, both back by popular demand, to witness the show, hear it explained and look through high-powered telescopes.
