Fundraiser for Ellicott City at Galactic Comic Con

Galactic Con & Classic Plastic Bricks of Ellicott City, Maryland have teamed up to raise money for The Ellicott City Partnership Flood Relief Fund. Classic Plastic Bricks will be selling special LEGO items to benefit the Relief Fund, and Galactic Con will be holding charity raffles and auctions throughout the day. Charity items will be donated by the attending artists and vendors.
Other Ellicott City pop culture related businesses, like All Time Toys were extended special invitations to set-up and will all be in the #ECSTRONG area.

Also we are offing free admission to any Elliott City residents, property owners, and business owners impacted by the flood

Galactic Con – Columbia Comic Con is Invading the Howard County Fair grounds on Saturday, June 16th.

Galactic Con will be hosting their third Maryland Comic Convention at a new location for 2018, the Howard County Fairgrounds. With over four times the space of their previous shows, Galactic Con has over 100 vendors, artists and guests. There will be no better way to kick off Father’s Day Weekend!
Galactic Con will have vendors specializing in comics, anime, toys, books and pop culture. Dozens of artists and creators from Maryland, and the surrounding areas, will be present to display their work and some will offer commissions.

Galactic Con will have a costume contest, so come dressed to win some amazing prizes. Special costumed guests will also be present. The local chapter of the 501st, a volunteer group that portrays the Dark Side of the Star Wars Universe, along with the Rebel Alliance to help balance the Force. The Finest, a G.I. Joe cosplay group, will also be stationed there, so be sure to bring you camera. All pictures with our costumed guests are absolutely free!

Local Ghostbusters fan groups will be there, bringing their Ecto-1 inspired vehicles, and for the first time there will be two replica Jurassic Park Jeeps on hand. All vehicles will be indoors!

You can also come and play games at our Gaming Area, hosted by Canton Games , of Baltimore, Maryland, and the @Games Club of Maryland. Games demos and intros will be hosted throughout the day, and you can also test out some games from their game library.
