CLASS WARE

INTRO BY Martha Thomas PHOTOGRAPHY BY Meredith Tankersley STYLING BY Kristin Antonino

Move to the head of the class with this selection of glassware and other vessels that serve a dual purpose. Each of these lovely items offers not only the chance to sip, serve or display, but the opportunity for extra credit. Learn to blow glass, throw a mug or craft a little teapot short and stout. Turn your Ball jars into wine goblets for slow sipping, or handy travel mugs for gulps on the run. This issue’s “education” theme, rather than leaving us shattered (or even with feet of clay), was inspiration to seek the cup of knowledge – or make our own.
