FIND UNIQUE STYLES FOR LESS

My name is Janina McNinney and my adventure to becoming the proprietor of StyleFinds Consignments all began when I visited the United States in August of 2001. I only brought 4 suitcases and had planned to stay 6 months with my sister.

My ‘vacation’ ended up lasting a good deal longer. The weather was always changing and I wanted a great wardrobePrice Tag 168690717 that was inexpensive, just in case I had to go back to Lithuania and leave it all behind. I began to research different brands and their standards of quality which led me to begin thinking of business opportunities for the future which tied in with my previous business experience.

I never went back to Lithuania because I met my dream-man, who soon became my husband. I was happy but it felt like my life had started over from scratch. At first, my research was geared toward making my new home comfortable and reminiscent of what I had left behind.

A couple of years into my life in the U.S. I discovered consignment stores. The merchandise was of a lot better quality than what I had seen so far in many 2nd hand stores, except that most of them were not well organized or clean. I loved the concept of an effi cient way of exchanging my old items because over 6 years we moved 3 times and each time things had to be changed and rearranged to work with our new surroundings. Old furniture and clothing began accumulating in our basement and I saw in our neighbors’ garage that they had things they didn’t want to use but were too good to throw away.

These situations would always make me think of ways that would give people an avenue to trade in their things for something new and exciting but I was tied down to my 9-5 job. In 2009, due to a struggling economy, I was laid off and I knew the moment had come to make my dream a reality! I convinced my skeptical husband, who was worried about the long hours and the stressful nature of small businesses, that I could do a lot better than anything we had seen before.

Savvy shoppers are the ones who visit our consignment store and it has nothing to do with being able to afford the prices at the mall. Our customers know that every dollar saved is a dollar earned. They know that they can come here and get boutique-shop customer service and attention, while fi nding beautiful pieces that spare their wallet a lot of pain. Keep in mind, customers, the Holiday Season is upon us! It is a wonderful time to remember our dear and loved ones, so visit us and you will fi nd wonderful and unique presents up to 75% off retail. This will leave plenty of funds for you to spread the love to more friends, throw more extravagant parties and maybe even get to treat yourself.

We also love to help you find an outfit, whether it is for a memorable New Year’s Eve or an Ugly-Christmas-sweater party – all without breaking the bank!Ladies love to bring the pieces that they can’t or don’t use anymore and be able to fi nd a great replacement all under one roof.

Our store is also a great route for anyone who is looking to redecorate their homes because we offer a way to replace your once-loved items for something else in our great ever-changing selection of home décor and furniture. Over our two short years in business we have attracted over a thousand consignors who bring us gorgeous items that fi ll our shelves and racks. We will always do our best to make both buying and consigning with us easy, fun and rewarding, and that is my promise to you all.
