From Tragedy to Triumph!

Featuring the combined forces of the HCCO and the UMBC Camerata, performing Haydn’s triumphant “Lord Nelson” Mass (directed by Stephen Caracciolo) and Dvořák’s “heart-on-sleeve” Serenade in E for Strings. Soloists: Lorriana Markovic, soprano; Janice Jackson, mezzo soprano; Joseph Regan, tenor; Karl Hempel, bass.

The Howard County Concert Orchestra (HCCO) Concert Series is described below and begins this month with the works of two musical giants. This first concert of our concert series will be held at the Smith Theater in the Horowitz Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland. (Single tickets for this concert will be available only through the Howard Community College, either online at the Howard Community College – Horowitz Center / Box Office or at the door.  This does not apply to HCCO Season Ticket holders, who will receive October 29 Concert tickets as a part of their HCCO subscription.)
